Reviews and Ratings
The Sheraton Kowloon is a great choice for a stay in Hong Kong with its excellent location near transportation options, superb views, and friendly service. However, noise levels can be a bit bothersome, and recent price changes may affect the overall value.
Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience overall. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and the staff, especially Ms. Mikiko Watanabe, went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The location was perfect, right off Nathan Road and adjacent to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. However, the dining options were limited and pricey for what was offered.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although kind of old, are spacious and kept clean, with a nice double sink and a comfortable bed. However, despite upgrading to a room on the top floor with views onto both Nathan Road and the harbor, it was not ready upon arrival at 7 pm, requiring a wait for an additional bed to be added.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The rooms were well-serviced twice a day with all the necessary facilities, and opting for a Towers room was truly worth it. The service was top-notch, incredibly attentive, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was arranged perfectly for my travels. The location was perfect, with easy access to the MTR and stunning views. The dining options were delightful, offering a variety of tasty dishes. With excellent facilities, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations.
Despite the older rooms that are prone to noise disturbances even on the top floor, the Sheraton Kowloon offers a lively location with easy access to shopping centers and eateries. The service varies from lovely and helpful to times when the staff seem to be in a bad mood. The dining options are versatile and efficient, providing a great experience overall. However, the Sheraton Kowloon is competitively priced compared to other properties, offering value for money considering the breathtaking view of Victoria Harbor.
The hotel offers nice, modern rooms that are on the smaller side but provide an excellent view of the 8 PM light show, typical of Hong Kong. The service is kind and accommodating, reflecting the high level of service expected from Marriott/Former Starwood hotels. The location is very convenient, with easy access to transportation and various dining options nearby. The dining experience is versatile, offering Japanese dishes at almost US $40, including taxes. Overall, a great value for the money with some minor downsides.
